Keyword Search for Messages
The Keyword search looks in the Subject field, Author field and the Message text
for word(s) you type in the "Search for" box below.
Search hints:
The search is not case sensitive (Percoll or percoll yield the same results).
You can truncate words (superov yields messages containing superovulation, and oocyte yields
a list of messages containing oocyte and oocytes). Note: If you only want oocyte surround the word with quotation marks, like "oocyte "
(notice there is a space after the "e"). Likewise " ovulation" (note space before the "o")
will elimate superovulation.
Surround phrases with quotation marks to look for an exact match (for example, "bovine embryo culture").
Note: Searching for a phrase narrows the search.
You can use AND, OR and NOT to refine your search. Note: AND is the default. Typing
goat ES cells will search for messages containing goat AND ES AND cells.
You can do compound searches by using parentheses.
For example, typing (mice or mouse) and superov will yield mice AND
superovulation and mouse AND superovulation. Typing embryo culture NOT (mouse
or mice or rat) will yield non-rodent messages containing embryo AND culture.
